General
Nora Lane Home wants furniture purchases to feel clear before checkout. Because furniture is large, fragile, and expensive to move, return eligibility depends on timing, product condition, packaging, carrier rules, and whether support approves the return before anything is shipped back.
Even if a product is not eligible for a standard return, damaged, defective, or incorrect deliveries are reviewed by support.
Return request window
Return requests should be sent within 14 days of delivery. Do not ship any item back until Nora Lane Home Support confirms return eligibility and provides return instructions.
Approved returns must be unused, unassembled when applicable, protected in original packaging when possible, and in resellable condition unless the issue is damage, defect, or an incorrect item.
How to start a return

Return address and carrier instructions are provided only after approval. Unapproved returns may be refused, delayed, or returned to sender.
Items that may not be returnable
- Custom, made-to-order, final-sale, clearance, open-box, or specially sourced furniture.
- Items assembled, used, modified, stained, scratched, or damaged after delivery.
- Items missing required packaging, parts, manuals, hardware, or return authorization.
- Items that cannot be safely repackaged for return transit.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact support within 3 days of delivery. Include the order number, product link, full product photos, close-up issue photos, packaging photos, and shipping label photos.
After review, support may arrange replacement parts, a replacement item, a refund, or another resolution depending on the evidence, item status, and carrier requirements.
Refund timing and costs
Customer return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless Nora Lane Home confirms the item was damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise covered by support review. Original shipping or delivery service fees may be non-refundable once a shipment has moved. If a restocking fee applies to a special case, support will disclose it during return authorization before the item is sent back.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refunds are usually submitted within 5 to 10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected. Banks and payment providers may need additional time to post funds.
Order changes and cancellations
Cancellation requests should be sent as soon as possible. Once fulfillment or carrier processing begins, cancellation may not be possible. If an order is already in transit, the return policy will apply after delivery.
